Hannah is a sophomore at Lower Merion High School. Hannah likes to swim, read, and play with her three brothers and three sisters. She also loves to sing and act. Besides musicals, she has performed in the comedy This is a Test, and the production Stephanie Hero. Hannah has had a positive experience with AWB, whom she credits with helping her become a better actress and encouraging her to do her best. Hannah will never be afraid to show her talent because of her disability since her amazing experiences with AWB.

Aaron is a very talented actor who enjoys writing, listening to music, watching movies, and making new friends. Aaron has been acting his entire life, but can currently be seen acting in the Philadelphia area at Magee Rehabilitation Center. While performing in high school plays, Aaron was aptly awarded “Best Actor” for his roles in two different productions. Aaron feels that AWB has given him the chance to express himself both physically and verbally and allowed him to meet new friends.

Lauren enjoys swimming, and was on the Lower Merion High School swim team throughout her high school career. Her favorite pastimes are being with her friends, watching TV and movies, listening to books on tape and music. Her favorite band is the Backstreet Boys. Lauren has a great deal of stage experience having starred in productions of American Bandstand, Oliver, Twelfth Night, A Christmas Carol, The Runaway Snowman, and Crazy for You. Her awesome experience with AWB has given her the chance to expand her horizons and become a great actress. Lauren feels that she can be anything she wants to be.

Chloe is a student at Lower Merion High School who enjoys art, dance, jazz, and singing. Chloe has received dance training from Barbara Ann School of Dance and looks to showcase her moves on the AWB stage! She participates in the chorus at Lower Merion High School and lends her beautiful vocals to our AWB performances. In addition to AWB, Chloe has been in many productions including Lion King, Cats, and Grease. While at home, Chloe enjoys cooking and eating!
Name: Jaime Knarr
Age: 17
AWB Performances: You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (’07)
Jaime joined the AWB cast in the Fall of 2006. She is in 10th Grade at Haverford High School in Havertown, PA. Jaime enjoys reading, writing, singing, playing cards and Scrabble, surfing the Internet and watching TV. Jaime comes to AWB with extensive theater training through her involvement with Media Theater, Wolf Productions, DCCC, Delaware County Christian Academy and Haverford Township. She has performed in various shows at Haverford Middle and High Schools.
Name: Gabrielle Korkor Age: 18

Gabrielle attends Moorestown High School. She sings in the MHS choir, and is co-president of the Multi-Cultural club. Also,Gabrielle is a member of the NJ Amici Della Lingua Italiana Club. Her favorite outdoor activity is swimming. She enjoys writing poetry, singing and going to classical concerts and operas with her sister who is a classical pianist and opera singer. Gabrielle has also competed and won public speaking contests at church. Gabrielle maintains a busy travel schedule, she has been to many cities in Europe and the Middle East. AWB has been an amazing experience and great fun.

Olivia is a student at Wissahickon Middle School. Olivia describes herself as a happy girl, who loves to be around people. She has a great memory and loves to swim, horseback ride, and work on her computer. Olivia has a great passion for drama and she also enjoys singing. She has performed in her fifth-grade class performance of “Honk Jr.” as Gracie. She has also participated in Choir and the annual Choral Festival.
Name: Steven Sebastianelli Age: 17

Steven is a senior at Lower Dauphin High School, and he is planning to study digital animation in college. He enjoys singing, acting, and working with computers. Steven has a lot of experience in acting having performed in Treasure Island and The Jungle Book for the Missoula Children's Theatre, Celebration of Children, and How to Succeed without Really Trying as well as Kiss Me Kate at Lower Dauphin High School. Steven has also been in many commercials including Easter Seals, Berlin Accessible Playground Equipment, Special Kids Network, and Keystone Children Programs. Steven aspires to sing rock and act in sitcoms in the future.

Josh is a student at Harriton High School. He enjoys acting with his friends, playing basketball and volleyball, and playing video games. He has taken music lessons and has been performing since he was three years old. Josh has performed with Settlement Music School in Germantown and the Philadelphia Academy Charter School. Josh enjoys performing with AWB because he envisions performing monologues in front of thousands of people and thrives on the thrill of the crowd!

Stan is freshman at DCCC. He has won many awards, in fine arts and graphic art. Stan has been a camp counselor, and has staffed many family retreats in Cape May NJ. Stan enjoys working with children, art, and computers. He aspires earn a degree in architecture and perhaps minor in Law at some time in his career. He has also enjoyed working with AWB from the very beginning of its take off. He also knows that in life there will be challenges and the best way to overcome them is to face them head on. Stan’s favorite quote is “As man once said, it's choice - not chance - that determines your destiny.” ~Jean Nidetch
Name: Briana White Age: 17

Briana White is a student at Lower Merion High School. Briana loves to cook, travel, swim, horseback ride, attend plays, sing in Choir and act. Before joining AWB, Briana starred in a number of plays including Grease, Oliver, Honk and Sussical the Musical. As a young child, she appeared in a number of “Toy’s R Us” catalogues, one specifically for the “Differently Abled Child”. This past summer she was thrilled to be a participant in ESF’s Young Leadership Program. She had an awesome summer experience making friends and working with the children of Dream Camp at Girard College, along with the inspiring staff. She also made appearances at ESF camps, with a performance of Charlie Brown and a workshop with Kids R Kids.
Briana has loved learning and performing with AWB, but she feels the greatest gift is being able to spend time with her friends and the most dedicated and extraordinary staff and volunteers.
Name: Simon Bonenfant
Age: 5

Simon is in Pre-Kindergarten at St. Lucy’s Day School for the Visually Impaired. He loves to sing, play the piano, and listen to the radio. Simon also has a great sense of humor. At AWB Jr., Simon enjoys meeting new friends and playing theater games. One day he hopes to be either a doctor or a radio talk-show host!
Name: John Michael Dowling
Age: 8
AWB Jr. Performances: Inaugural Performance (’07)
John attends St. Lucy’s Day School for the Visually Impaired. He is very outgoing and loves music and singing. John especially loves country music. His favorite artists are Faith Hill & Tim McGraw, whom he was able to hear up close and personal during a special acoustic session. John loves to play the piano and guitar as well. John is extremely excited to begin with AWB Jr. and is hoping to have a great experience.
Name: Elizabeth Harrington
Age: 10

Elizabeth attends St. Lucy’s Day School for the Visually Impaired. She is
happy all the time and can always be seen with a smile on her face. She loves to talk and listen to stories. Elizabeth enjoys singing, playing piano, listening to books on tape, and performing in plays and musicals. She has participated in her school plays and is anxiously awaiting her graduation to the AWB program!
Name: Maddie M. Jones
Age: 8

Maddie attends Gladwyne Elementary School. She has an older sister and a dog. Maddie loves school and enjoys joking around and talking. She is extremely friendly and has very few inhibitions. She also enjoys music, dress up, imaginary play, playing games (especially Uno!), reading, taking care of pets, watching movies and being outside. She enjoys AWB Jr. because she likes to perform, learn about theatre, and make friends with other children with disabilities.

Age: 9

Elias is a student at Fort Washington Elementary School. Elias is a very dynamic, energetic boy. He is interested in being an actor, singer, dancer, and performer. Elias enjoys theatre, films, books and his dog, Bob. Elias has performed in school plays and has done some stage lighting. Elias is very excited to be in AWB Jr. because when he is given a chance to do what he loves, he always grow and blossoms.

Jaelyn attends The Springside School. She is a very friendly, determined and motivated girl. She can learn songs and lines very well and has sung in her church choir. Jaelyn enjoys singing, dancing, eating, watching TV, and reading. Jaelyn enjoys AWB because she loves to shine in the spotlight. Jaelyn and her family believe that AWB will be a great opportunity to do all of these things in a supportive environment as well as allowing her to connect with her peers that face similar issues |
